Ashley Cohen, MD completed her emergency medicine residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she served as chief resident during her fourth year. She is a postdoctoral fellow in the National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP) at UCLA and a PhD candidate in Health Policy & Management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Drawing on experience as both a registered nurse and emergency physician, her work focuses on developing practical, scalable solutions to improve equitable access to high-quality care. Her current research spans health systems triage, care transitions, healthcare affordability, and the evaluation of large language model use in healthcare delivery. She practices clinically as an emergency medicine physician at UCLA Health.
